The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, June 23 reveals Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will hit Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) with a low blow.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will question Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) decision. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will encounter Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). And Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will listen in on a very public argument.
Y&R spoilers tease Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be forced to talk to Adam when she returns to her hospital room. She’ll say she heard everything he said when she was asleep earlier. “There’s nothing that can change or fix this decision you made,” she’ll tell Adam. “How can I ever forgive you?”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Audra Curious About Her Competition
Adam will head to the Jazz Club for a drink. And when Audra spots him, she’ll join him and say his name. “Do I even know you?” he’ll ask. “Not yet, but you should,” Audra will reply and introduce herself. She’ll tell him she was curious about her competition and she’s already heard a lot about him. “But speaking of exploits, should I believe the one that you’re soon going to be in charge of the whole show at Newman Media?” Adam will ask her.
At Newman Enterprises, Nikki will be furious with her daughter for forcing Nick to take a leave of absence. “Why did you do that?” But Victoria will say it was the right thing to do. “Nicholas will get past it and he’ll realize he truly needs this little break.” Nikki will say she should have let Nick make the call. “Quite frankly, I am sick and tired of people second guessing my decisions for this company!” Victoria will reply angrily. Then Victor will walk in and ask what’s going on.
Nikki will tell Victor that Victoria faced Nick to take a leave of absence. She’ll also guess there’s more at play. “And I suspect it has something to do with your relationship with Nate Hastings,” Nikki will tell her daughter. But a furious Victoria will tell them if they don’t agree, they should just let her go and she’ll storm out.
Meanwhile, Nate will encounter Tucker at the GCAC. They’ll discuss Audra and Nate will say she finally has the opportunity to shine. After Nate sits down, Nick will walk in and approach him. “I gotta hand it to you!” Nick will say. “Pretty smooth man, and you know exactly what I’m talking about!” Over at the bar, Tucker will ask for another drink. “This should be interesting,” he’ll say to himself.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Victoria Offers Nate The Job
“You and Victoria are trying to use my personal issues to shove me aside,” Nick will tell Nate. But Nate will balk. “How long is it going to be before she makes you interim COO?” Nick will ask him. “Or has she done that already?” Nate will say it’s not up to him, it’s up to Victoria. “I think your plan is to take full advantage of this situation,” Nick will reply.
Nate will point out they used to be friends and he’ll ask what happened. Nick will say it must have started when he betrayed his own family and Nate will ask what he can do to prove he’s not making a power move. “Stay in your lane,” Nick will tell him “You’ll prove to everyone that this isn’t some part of some master plan you cooked up with my sister.” However, Nate will say if Victoria needs his input, he’s not going to say no. “Well there it is,” Nick will respond.
Then Nate will tell Nick he’s genuinely sorry to hear what he’s been through. “But don’t blame me because you couldn’t stop your daughter from being kidnapped, or for the fact that you weren’t there for Sally when she lost her baby.” An angry Nick will begin to rise from the table, but Victoria will walk over. “You two do whatever it is you think you got to do,” he’ll tell them. “Just remember, plans like this usually end up crashing and burning.”
Finally, after Nick leaves, Victoria will tell Nate she hopes her brother didn’t give him too much grief. Then she’ll say she wants him to take over as interim COO, effective immediately. “Are you okay with that?” she’ll ask.
